The ALM N6 engine delivers 340 HP (253 kW) at 2200 rpm, featuring a 6-cylinder in-line configuration with a large 8-liter displacement, 112 mm bore, and 135 mm stroke.
Equipped with a turbocharged and intercooled aspiration system, a Common Rail Fuel Injection system, and a sea water-cooled heat exchanger with a charged air cooler, this engine ensures superior performance and efficiency.
It is compatible with the DMT140H gearbox, offering gear ratios of 1.97:1, 3:1, and 3.36:1. Although not type-approved, it is designed for main propulsion and auxiliary applications, making it an ideal choice for demanding marine operations.
